USA GK & Civics Quiz (“we”, “our”, “us”) is an educational learning app developed by IndyTech.
This policy explains what information may be collected and how it is used.
What We Collect
We designed the app to work without an account or login.
We do not ask users for names, emails, phone numbers, or passwords.
- Local Data: App progress (scores, unlocked levels, and settings) is stored locally on your device.
- Pro Version: If you subscribe to the Pro version, your subscription status is handled securely by the Google Play Store.
Third-party SDKs We Use
To provide a high-quality experience, we use trusted third-party SDKs for advertising and app stability.
These providers may process limited technical data:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID/AAID), IP address, device/OS info, and app version
- App activity and diagnostics (e.g., screen views, button taps, and crash logs)
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Google AdMob is used to display ads in the free version of the app,
limit ad frequency, and measure effectiveness.
The Pro version of the app is 100% ad-free and does not call these advertising SDKs.
Analytics & Crash Reporting (Google Firebase)
Google Firebase is used to understand feature usage at an aggregate level
and to diagnose crashes or performance issues.
This helps us improve the “Growing Library” content and app stability.

Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell your data.
Data collected by AdMob and Firebase is processed under their respective privacy policies
for ad operations, analytics, crash diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Data Retention
We do not maintain our own server-side databases for user profiles.
Third-party providers (Google) retain data according to their own policies and legal requirements.
Your Choices
- Reset or limit ad tracking in your Android settings (Settings > Google > Ads)
- Upgrade to the Pro version to remove ads entirely
- Delete all local progress by uninstalling the app or clearing app data in device settings
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the integrity of the app.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves (for example, when adding new “Phases”).
Updates will appear on this page with a revised Effective Date.
