Privacy Policy – GK Practice for Kids Kannada
Effective Date: 05 December 2025
Who We Are
GK Practice for Kids Kannada (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a children’s
general knowledge learning app. This policy explains what information may be collected and how
it is used.
What We Collect
We designed the app to work without an account or login.
We do not ask users for names, emails, phone numbers, or passwords. App progress (scores,
unlocked levels, and settings) is stored locally on the device. However, third-party SDKs may
collect limited technical data automatically.
Third-party SDKs We Use
We use trusted providers to deliver ads, measure
performance, and improve stability. These providers may process:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID/AAID), IP address, device/OS info, app version,
language, coarse location (inferred from IP)
- App activity and diagnostics (e.g., screen views, button taps, crash logs, performance
data)
Advertising (Google AdMob):
Used to display ads, limit ad frequency, prevent
fraud/abuse, and measure effectiveness.
- For this child-focused app, we serve non-personalized ads and disable ad personalization
for under-age users.
- AdMob may still use device data to support essential ad operations (frequency capping,
aggregated reporting, fraud prevention).
Analytics & Crash Reporting (Google Firebase – Analytics
& Crashlytics):
Used to understand feature usage at an aggregate level
and to diagnose crashes/performance issues.
- We do not use analytics to build user profiles or to personalize ads for children.
For details, see Google’s policies:
Children’s Privacy
We comply with child privacy regulations. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe your child has provided us
personal data, please contact us for prompt deletion.
Data Sharing and Selling
We do not sell data. Data collected by AdMob and Firebase
is processed under their respective privacy policies for ads operations, analytics, crash
diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
Data Retention
We do not maintain our own server-side databases.
Third-party providers retain data according to their policies and legal requirements.
Your Choices
- Reset or limit ads tracking in Android settings (Reset Advertising ID / Opt out of Ads
Personalization).
- Manage app permissions in your device settings.
- Delete local progress by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect data. However, no
method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy as our app evolves. Updates
will appear on this page with a revised “Effective Date.”
